24TH CLASS - REMEMBRANCE DAY - POSTCARDS FOR PEACE

1) We read a newspaper that had all kinds of articles from past to present. It was a good reminder of what Rembrance Day is all about.

2) In groups you completed a quiz about the dangers of different drugs.
3) We discussed each drug in more detail. I was impressed with your participation and will take up your ideas and see if it is possible to have our nurse come talk to us more specifically about the biological/neurological effects from different drugs.

We reveiwed the two concepts from last class. You got into groups of 4-5 and created 2 skits: firstly, handling a situation as a reactive person, and secondly, that same situation as a proactive person.

See if you can join the group of a friend before next class.
Next class Wednesday, September 30 (Day 10): HOUSE Meeting. You will have a few minutes to practice and then perform on Friday, October 2 (Day 2).

2ND CLASS - TIME MANAGEMENT
Today we:
1) Started our Time Management LES. Starting at 6/7 a.m. this morning, you need to document what you did and do every hour, for 24 hours. You need to do this on the blank side of the first page of the booklet you were given. Each hour, you need to write down what you did. You will be able to stop when you wake up tomorrow and put in your time sleeping. Tomorrow, you will stop the same hour you started with today.
2) Went over 4 very important forms for your parents/guardians.
Tuesday, September 8 (Day 5) at the beginning of DEAR: Those forms are due back at the beginning of class.
Wednesday, September 9 (Day 6) at the beginning of ERC: The 24-hour documentation is due at the beginning of class. Do not fill anything else out in the booklet you were given.
