9TH CLASS - PROACTIVE/REACTIVE LES II
Today:
We reveiwed the two concepts from last class. You got into groups of 4-5 and created 2 skits: firstly, handling a situation as a reactive person, and secondly, that same situation as a proactive person.
If you missed class:
See if you can join the group of a friend before next class.
Next class Wednesday, September 30 (Day 10): HOUSE Meeting. You will have a few minutes to practice and then perform on Friday, October 2 (Day 2).

7TH CLASS - EXAM TIPS LES II
Today:
1) We finished going throught the Exam Tips. Now it is up to you to make your goals for your first upcoming exam, and see how things play out! Good luck. Once you have your exam, you will be able to reflect and evaluate yourself on this LES.
2) Thanks for helping stock up on kleenex.
If you missed class: Continue reading and working on the handout that we started during the 6th Advisory Class.

ARE YOU IN CONCENTRATION?

4TH CLASS - TIME MANAGEMENT III AND TERRY FOX RUN
Today we:1) Finished up the Time Management LES. You reflected on how you spent your time, evaluated yourself, and set 3 realistic goals to get into the habit of doing this month.
2) Talked about the Terry Fox Run on September 24 (Day 7), during period 3 we, as a school, will be participating in once again. Click on the link above to learn more; credit to that website for the above picture.
If you missed class: Come see me for the permission form and pledge sheet. Your Time Management LES handout also needs to be fully completed.
Next class Tuesday, September 15 (Day 10): Before we make our way down to the gym, I will be collecting all assignments and permission forms at the beginning of class. If your parent/guardian does not give permission, you need to return that form and your pledge sheet to me.

Next class September 11 (Day 9): I trust you will have up to the middle of page 2 completed when I check at the beginning of class. Bring your binder to keep in the class.

2ND CLASS - TIME MANAGEMENT
Today we:
1) Started our Time Management LES. Starting at 6/7 a.m. this morning, you need to document what you did and do every hour, for 24 hours. You need to do this on the blank side of the first page of the booklet you were given. Each hour, you need to write down what you did. You will be able to stop when you wake up tomorrow and put in your time sleeping. Tomorrow, you will stop the same hour you started with today.
2) Went over 4 very important forms for your parents/guardians.
Tuesday, September 8 (Day 5) at the beginning of DEAR: Those forms are due back at the beginning of class.
Wednesday, September 9 (Day 6) at the beginning of ERC: The 24-hour documentation is due at the beginning of class. Do not fill anything else out in the booklet you were given.
Have a good long weekend! Enjoy having Monday off.
